BACLOFEN 

Baclofen medication treats muscle pain by relieving the spasms, cramping, and tightness of muscles caused by medical problems. BACLOFEN medication belongs to a class of medication called skeletal muscle relaxants. It is an antispasmodic agent that acts on spinal cord nerves and decreases the number and severity of muscle spasms in patients. 

How to Use Baclofen

This medication is available in the form of tablets and syrups you can take by mouth. Usually, it is taken 3 times a day at evenly spaced intervals. You can take this medication as prescribed by your doctor and ask your doctor to explain any part you do not understand. Before taking this medication use an oral device to accurately measure and take your dose of baclofen solution. 

Take this medication even if you feel better and do not stop taking baclofen without talking to your doctor. Stopping this medication can cause fever, confusion, seizures, muscle stiffness, or hallucinations.

Precautions

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to baclofen, any other medications, or any of the ingredients used in baclofen tablets and oral solutions. Tell your doctor about prescribed and non-prescribed medications, supplements, or herbal products you are taking or planning to take. 

Tell your doctor about your medical history, if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or a breastfeeding mother. Do not drive after taking baclofen because baclofen medication may make you drowsy. Additionally, stop the consumption of alcohol because it makes the side effects of baclofen worse.
