ARTIMETHER, LUMEFANTRINE CAPSULE

This is a combination of two medications one is Artimether and the other is Lumefantrine and used to treat certain kinds of malaria infections. ARTIMETHER, LUMEFANTRINE CAPSULE

Is a class of medications called antimalarials and it works by killing the organism that causes malaria. We can use this medicine to treat only malaria and not to prevent malaria.

ARTIMETHER +  LUMEFANTRINE CAPSULE is used to treat malaria in adults and children. The ingredients of this medication belong to a class of drugs known as antimalarials. Further, the combination of this medication is used to kill the malaria parasite living inside the red blood cells. Remember this product is not used to prevent malaria therefore in some cases you need to take a different medication to kill the malaria parasite living inside the liver.

Headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, weakness, fever, chills, tiredness, muscle/joint pain, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, cough, and trouble sleeping. These side effects do not need medical attention and go away after some time. But if these side effects get worse while taking this medication then inform your doctor. If you suffer from serious side effects then get medical help right away.
